The Power of Hope
What is the one condition that any person or community cannot endure?
In our 10+ years of experience helping children, youth, and their families around the world, the one condition that is so hard to overcome is lack of hope. Why? Because without hope, young people flee for opportunities elsewhere, whether that is through risk behaviors like drug trafficking, prostitution, teen pregnancy, suicide, or making the perilous journey to foreign borders, risking life and limb for a glimmer of hope and opportunity.
