In November of 2007 our lives changed forever. Mark was a young professional working for a multi-billion dollar mall development company in a quickly advancing career and Christin was providing analytical and management solutions for a large construction management firm when we joined a short-term mission trip to Kenya. Together, we led an effort to audit a church-based micro-finance program and provide basic business skills training to young entrepreneurs. While there, we also worked on an emerging medical center. Over those short two weeks, our previously-held ambitions for corporate wealth and influence melted and our lives turned into a mission to bring leadership, vision and practical help to under-resourced and vulnerable communities.
