About Kelly

Kelly Bargabos is Chief Financial and Operating Officer for San Diego Theatres, Inc., a nonprofit that operates event and performance venues in downtown San Diego. After earning her CPA in New York, she built a career in finance and operations across retail and wholesale, and in both the public and private sectors.
She is passionate about using leadership and operational excellence to carry out strategy, create change, and drive results. Kelly has also volunteered with organizations working to end poverty and homelessness and with organizations dedicated to the future and welfare of children.
Kelly is an award-winning author of the memoir Chasing the Merry-Go-Round: Holding on to Hope & Home When the World Moves Too Fast. She enjoys writing about what moves her, hoping it moves others too.
